1. Definitions

In these terms the following words carry the meanings set out below:

• Retailer means any third-party online store, marketplace seller or merchant whose products and prices appear on Farq, such as Daraz, Telemart or iShopping.
• Offermeans a specific listing for a product on a Retailer's site, including its advertised price, shipping terms and stated availability at the time we recorded it.
• User Content means anything you submit to Farq, including messages, feedback, reviews, ratings, alert settings and any other material you provide.
• Dynamic Pricing means the practice, common across Pakistani e-commerce, of Retailers changing prices frequently in response to demand, stock, promotions or currency movements.

2. Nature of the Service

Farq is an independent comparison and information tool. We collect and present Offers so that you can compare prices across many Retailers in one place. We are not a shop, we do not hold stock, and we are never a party to any sale that takes place between you and a Retailer.

When you decide to buy, you leave Farqand complete your purchase on the Retailer's own website under their terms. The Retailer alone is responsible for order fulfilment, payment processing, delivery, warranties, returns, refunds and any dispute that arises from your transaction.

3. Data Sources & Ranking

We assemble Offers from a mix of sources: structured product feeds and APIs supplied by Retailers, affiliate networks, and manual curation by our team. Because data arrives from many places, small gaps or delays can occur between an update on a Retailer's site and what you see here.

By default we rank Offers by price and relevance, so the lowest live price for a product generally appears first. Where a placement is sponsored or paid for, it is clearly labelled as such and is never allowed to disguise itself as an ordinary lowest-price result.

4. Pricing & Accuracy Disclaimer

Prices, shipping charges, taxes, duties, fees, discounts, promotions and availability shown onFarq can change at any time without notice because of Dynamic Pricing. We work hard to keep our data fresh, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is accurate or current at the moment you view it.

The price and terms displayed on the Retailer's own website at the point of checkout are always authoritative. If a price on Farqdiffers from the Retailer's site, the Retailer's site prevails, and you should rely on it before completing a purchase.

5. No Professional Advice

The content on Farq, including comparisons, price histories and buying guides, is provided for general information only. It does not constitute financial, legal, technical or other professional advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances. Any purchasing decision you make is your own.

6. Eligibility & Accounts

To use Farq you must be of legal age to enter a binding contract in Pakistan, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity that takes place under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud or abuse.

7. Acceptable Use

When using Farq, you agree that you will not:

• scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract data from the service except as expressly permitted by us in writing;
• bypass, disable or interfere with any security, rate-limiting or access-control feature;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the service;
• introduce malware, viruses or any other harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others or disrupts the experience of other users.

8. Intellectual Property

Farq and everything that makes it up, including the brand, logo, design, software, database structure, layout and original text, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Retailer names, product images and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification and comparison purposes only.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the service for your own non-commercial price comparison. This licence does not allow you to copy, resell, republish or commercially exploit any part of the service.

9. User Content & Feedback

When you submit User Content, you grant Farq a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display and use that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the User Content you submit, that it is accurate and lawful, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party or breach any applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links & Retailer Sites

Farq contains links that take you to Retailer websites and other third-party services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, prices, security or privacy practices. Following any such link is at your own risk, and the terms and policies of the destination site will apply to your activity there.

11. Affiliate Disclosure & Compensation

Comparing prices on Farq is free for you. Some of the links on the service are affiliate links, which means that if you click through to a Retailer and make a purchase, we may earn a small referral commission from that Retailer or its affiliate network. This never adds anything to the price you pay.

Earning a commission never changes how we rank Offers. Our default ordering by price and relevance applies regardless of whether a link is an affiliate link, and any paid placement is labelled as described in Section 3.

12. Privacy & Cookies

We process personal data and use cookies to operate the service, remember your preferences and power features such as price-drop alerts. Our handling of your information is explained in detail in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it to understand what we collect and why.

13. Service Changes & Availability

We are constantly developing Farq, so we may add, change, suspend or remove features, Retailers or content at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access without prior notice.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Farqis provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that the information shown is complete or accurate, or that any defects will be corrected.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Pakistani law, Farq and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, or from any transaction you enter into with a Retailer. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Farq and its team from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Farq, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we reasonably need to protect the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification, will continue to apply.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. You agree that the courts of Pakistan will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the service.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use ofFarq after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms, so please review this page periodically.
